20 Mission - Beer Display Design
20 Mission Brewery required a beer display design for La Toma Beer Festival (Medellín, 2017) as well as future beer festivals & events.
The Beer Display Design is a modular unit that can be disassembled and assembled by one person, by hand. It stands 4 m high and 1.8m wide, and can be assembled to take on other sizes depending on area restraints of future beer festivals.
The frame is made from black steel. The upper section hangs a circular wooden board with the 20 Mission logo. The high display creates a visual relation to the 20 Mission logo on the far end of the 20 Mission Brewery warehouse. It is purposefully positioned high above the crowd in order to be visible throughout the entire warehouse and draw people to sample the house beer.
Once people are closer they can see the finer details and information in the lower section, in which hangs wooden boards with laster cut designs of the three beer flavours on offer – Blonde, IPA & Porter.
Two oil barrels act as the support for the large structure. Their small footprint provides ample space to move around in a fast paced and hectic environment behind the bar. For La Toma Beer Festival they were filled with an assortment of local indoor plants with low maintenance requirements. Alternatively the barrels can be used to store ice and additional kegs at future events.
